RemindLock privacy policy
Updated
The RemindLock app keeps your reminders, typed reasons and unlock photos on your iPhone, with no accounts, and sends only anonymous usage counts you can turn off; this website uses no cookies.
This policy covers the iPhone app and this website, including the waitlist.
The app
- RemindLock has no accounts and no servers of its own.
- Its only network calls are StoreKit, Apple's purchase system, and anonymous usage counts sent to TelemetryDeck.
- The usage counts say which features get used (for example, that a reminder was done 15 to 60 minutes after it was due), never what your reminders say, the reasons you type, your photos or which apps you lock. They aren't linked to you, and you can turn them off in Settings.
- Reminders, the reasons you type and unlock photos stay on your iPhone.
- The Screen Time permission is Apple's: the apps you pick are stored as opaque tokens, so RemindLock can't see which apps they are.
- Access to Apple Reminders is read-only, so RemindLock never changes them.
The website
- It uses no cookies and no ad or tracking pixels.
- The only analytics is Umami Cloud, which is cookieless and counts page views, referrers and one waitlist-signup event, with no personal data.
- Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the waitlist form to stop bots.
The waitlist
When you join, the site stores your email, the optional note you write, the page you signed up from, the utm_source and utm_campaign link tags if the link had them, and the time you signed up, in Cloudflare D1.
It's used only to email you once when RemindLock launches.
It's deleted if you ask.
